Dr. Samir S. Dalvie received his under-graduate and post-graduate medical training from the prestigious Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital in Mumbai. He developed a special interest in Spine Surgery , and worked as Lecturer in the Spine Unit at KEM Hospital following his qualification.

Dr. Dalvie has an interest in academics and research , and has many publications to his credit. He has many presentations in international conferences , and is an invited speaker and faculty for many national and international meetings. He convenes many training courses in spine surgery , and is also involved in teaching and training.

He is a member of the British Scoliosis Society . He is on the executive committee of the Association of Spine Surgeons of India and the Bombay Orthopaedic Society. He is a member of the Indian Orthopaedic Association and the Association of Medical Consultants.
