Dr. Behgal is a senior consultant in the department of medical oncology at Fortis Mohali. He completed his MBBS from Patiala Medical College in 1993,his MD in radiation oncology from AIIMS in 1997 and his diplomat of national board in clinical oncology in 1998. Prior to joining

Fortis, Dr. Behgal's work experience includes time in New Delhi, as well as international exposure in London and Switzerland. His specialty fields of interest are breast cancer, gastrointestinal tumors, gynecological cancers and pediatric oncology.

With a passion for research, Dr. Behgal has published a number of National and International publications, four of which have been from Fortis Hospital as a participant in the UK based ABC trial for breast cancer; The breast cancer research group St Galen's Switzerland. He was the recipient of the "Best research paper Award" at the 2005 SAARC ONCO conference.

Regionally, Dr. Behgal has built his name as an expert in clinical and palliative oncology. Besides being an active medical oncologist, his interests are focused on quality of life issues and the practice of pain management in comprehensive oncology care.
